09/03/08   #1 Hello - I was wondering if anyone might have any information on two early 20th century whaleback barge shipwrecks off Sandy Hook, New Jersey; #1. the barge BERKSHIRE  (x BARGE 103, x JOHN SCOTT RUSSEL) sank on Sunday 23 May 1090 with (it is believed) no loss of life; #2. the barge CASSIE (x BARGE 202) sank on Wednesday 24 October 1917 with (it is believed) no loss of life.
